I can't think of one favorite. I don't hate the guy but I don't get Channing Tatum.

I'll track that down this weekend.

I actually thought his acting carried Hack into "good" territory despite the show's mediocre writing. I would have liked that show to stick around for another season.

Your old man's a casting director?
No he's a director, mostly doco's and corporate work.

It was for a corporate playing the role of a MTV anchor (think Richard Wilkins). Crowe was fine but this other guy nailed it. The other guy still kicks around Sydney and has had an acting and voice over career (all the Aussies would know his voice, lots of Ch7 work).

I'd say my least favorite actor is Jessica Alba, but I'd hardly call what she does "acting." She's a model who somehow keeps ending up in movies.

So probably Jonah Hill. That guy is total fart noise.

Favorite? Probably Edward Norton.

The actor that makes me happy every time he's on screen is Tom Hanks.

The actor that makes me want to punch things every time he's on screen is Denzel Washington.

Tom Hanks makes me pretty punchy.

Those non-actors piss me off. I saw a bit of a Julia Roberts film and she has essentially done the same role in every film. Then you consider a Cate Blanchett and there's some acting.

Oh, I wasn't talking in terms of talent. Settling down with a Hanks film is like hanging out with a cool uncle. My main experiences of Cate Blanchett are LOTR and the Harrison Ford movie that shall not be named, and she was shit in both, but I'm sure she's done great work elsewhere.

Those 2 thoughts weren't linked.

He knocks it out of the park in there. Definitely channeling a little Joe Pesci. Excellent movie too. You should check it out.
