So, Mad Season Mike? Not that there's anything wrong with that. It sounded like Mad Season Mike to me.

Scales under loads of reverb, delay and a wah wah pedal. Kinda boring. Just a first impression I'll probably love it next week.

I assumed that the second album sessions had been trawled through and they were only working on and finishing the 3 tracks for this release.
I haven't heard Above in years and I'm excited again. May even have to dust off the Live at the Moore VHS. November Hotel rocked.

There was an interview with Mike that said he was going to work on a second album of Mad Season stuff with Mark, I'll have to find it.

the epk for this reissue is really nice...listening to Layne talking about the band and seeing that footage and pics...good moments.
What i like about that record is something that Barret Martin says about the dark beauty...is has such a dark subject and view and yet there is some redemption there, there is a possibility of searching the solution.
It reminds me of the moment i first listen to it, and this moment of my life too.

It's been far too long since I've listened to this album.

Yeah I basically haven't heard this album in almost 10 years. I'm ready to re-visit and hoping that I'll have a vinyl release for that purpose.

That's okay, Pete. I probably would have judged you had you given me any other answer.

Sweet, looking forward to this.
I didn't realize the video footage was as good as it is.

Jeez - all of those Seattle guys were just making such great music back then. Classic albums were dropping every month. I miss the early/mid 90s.

I might even pick this up at some point, though I've never been a huge fan of the record.
