Duquesne whistle obviously.

Messing.

Something new would be a welcome treat. I like is Forever Young but i basically just want to hear him attempt something different.

Idiot Wind would be great! Something off Blood on the tracks would suit me just fine.

Or, possibly, what's a sweetheart.....

Emotionally yours?

Love sick!

That's a fantastic song, but I'm having trouble hearing Eddie on it

Eh, after his dream a little dream cover, and his already destroyed voice...I think he could actually do a fun cover of it! I was joking at first but now thinking about it....

That would be great, makes me think that Where Are You Tonight? could be done well by Ed.

Yep, that too.

Might need to spin Street Legal again. It's been too long.

"Where Are You Tonight?" is one of Dylan's best songs of the '70's. The content feels a little outside Eddie's register (strippers and sexual innuendo and whatnot), but the song seems like it'd be up his alley.

I could see ed having fun with the lyric and doing the song justice. I just love Street Legal man. Top 5 for me. Maybe top 3.

It's a hell of an album but not in the top 10 even.

Don't rain on my Street Legal parade!
I'm sure I rank it too high, but truthfully I pretty much stopped listening to the first record-blonde on blonde a while ago. Obviously an unparalleled run; I just burned out on them and there was so much of the catalogue to dig deep into.

"Street-Legal" has a handful of incomparable songs, but it's pitched so intensely that songs which would have been merely forgettable on other albums come across as spectacular failures on this one. Dylan is in remarkable voice, though, and the peaks really are among the highest of his post-'60's output. A solid B effort.

Lovesick
Man in the Long Black Coat
I Wanna Be Your Lover

and yes, Simple Twist of Fate would be awesome.

How about top 3 night Dylan albums? Was it Lanois who said the TOOM was rec'd late at night, through the night. You can tell. It has a certain vibe. Street Legal has a bit of that too.

Just listened to it (well some tracks) and there are some killer tracks here but most of what stands out is the strength of the vocals. It may be down to having strong backing vocals but Dylan here is in fine form.

Before I go on some more maybe we should move this over here
