she seems really hateable, but oh so hot. i'm torn.

Until a legit Doctor Doom shows up in one of these shit movies, I don't care about them. I want the real Doom, complete with referring to himself in third person.

yes, and yet you said it was better than the new ones. which is the very definition of insane. granted raimis 1 and 2 are heads and shoulders better than these first two to even insinuate that 3 is better than them is absurd

I'd rate Raimis' Spiderman 3 over the two new ones. I lot of this could be down to Garfield's portrayal of Peter though

I haven't seen Spiderman 3, but I have seen a few scenes where Parker is dancing and they were hilarious.

i thought he did a great job of playing the conflictions parker has in the comics. as peter hes shy and not very outgoing. as spiderman he is care free and a wiseass. being a wiseass is a defense mechanism to how holy shit scared he is in what he is doing as spiderman.

Garfield was nothing but an obnoxious wiseass the whole time, including when playing Peter. Maguire was perfect.

I've been into this video channel lately. It gets me a little more hyped about movies.

And Kate Mara's nose bothers me.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

The thing that makes the FF my favorite superhero team is the sense of history that permeates their comics. Their relationships with every character in the Marvel U. Reed and Sue's marriage. The kids. The Future Foundation. Grown up Franklin. Their complicated relationship with Doom. Doom's soft spot for Valeria. Johnny and Spider-Man BFFs. Reed and Blank Pather BFFs. Namor's love for Sue. When Johnny tease Ben it's the 10,000 time you've seen it. We aren't going to get any of that here.

that trailer has no charisma and that movie looks like it's had all the fun sucked out of it. I'm more excited for Ant Man's fight on top of Thomas.

Well this is a comic book property Stip and I can agree on. Unlike DC which has always embraced a multiverse hence there are no definitive interpretations of the characters there is really only one FF with the obvious exception of the Ultimate Comics versions. Even when the FF meet alternate versions of themselves its through the lenses of the 616 versions. FF should be upbeat...optimistic...fun....so when they do truly get themselves in a dire situation its all that more poignant. I have no issues with filmmakers wanting to put their own spin on things (except for Peter Jackson....damn you!!!!) and have zero issues with Johnny Storm being black since his ethnicity isn't central to the character(but, but, but then make Black Panther white.....well T'Challa is a African Prince from an ancient line of African Princes and his name is fucking T'Challa not Brad....idiot fanboys) but there seems to be very little of the characters we know here except for their powers which aren't all that special in 2015. I don't normally put much stock in early trailers but the behind the scenes scuttlebutt seems to confirm this probably isn't going to work out which I'm kind of rooting for so they go back to Marvel.
