I tried a couple places in NYC but I have no idea what they were called. They were really good, but this place is extraordinary. Which is weird, because like I said Buenos Aires doesn't generally have good Middle Eastern food.

It sounds like you've found THE place. But next time you're in NYC try King of Falafel and tell me how it measures up.

I did today. It was Shawarmaturday and it was glorious.

Though I think the meat they use at this place I go to is a mix of beef and lamb.

Thankfully it appears there is a place that serves Mediterranean foods within 10 minutes of my house. I will be having shawarma soon enough.

They have one of those "halal guys" knock offs near me with the white sauce, I see why everyone flips over it. It was really good.
