I guess my own experiences with depression and the need to step away from an onslaught of stimuli has me more connected to the content of In Hiding on a personal level. It kinda hits the nail on the head.

So does Light Years, though.

I'd put them both on the same level lyrically. I just adore the music to In Hiding. And I like Ed's vocals a lot more there than LY.

This one is really tough. It really depends on what kind of mood I'm in one which one I like better.

Ok, I'm going with In Hiding.

I don't really think these songs get so much love here (they're often considered overrated actually). But both are between my favorites.
In Hiding is top 5 tho.

Light Years for me as it has personal significance. Surprised both are this far in though.

Actually, I believe Ed's PhD is in Your Face. He studied Your Face.

In hiding beats the worst song on pearl jam's best album.

In Hiding. This is another tough match up but In Hiding gives me more of a lift.

I'm gonna be so mad if Light Years loses. SO MAD. All you Light Years naysayers.

Light Years is the better song but that hasn't always been the case for me.

Whichever song progresses, won't advance again.

Both songs are bottom third on their respective albums, but I enjoy In Hiding a lot more. I've never been able to get what anyone sees as special about Light Years. I can at least get that perspective about In Hiding.
