See, I'm pro-shoot outs, so this never would have worked.

I can live with shootouts in the regular season I guess. In the NHL I think if it's an in conference game they should not have ties. Or or or or maybe the last couple of weeks no ties.

So, what kind of playing time does a 4th line get in these sims?

When putting a team together, I was reminded of how insanely good the 1970-71 Bruins were.

This was one of my earlier hockey memories. I thought the Cinderella story of the North Stars that year was cool. But I'm a huge Jagr fan so this does not cut too deep. Mario was just a beast.

3-0 in my first three sims. Looks like the AI is decent. Sergei Zubov was excellent on power plays and he had a goal and an assist on the PP in my last game. I was kinda worried about that. I wish you could edit your 2nd and 3rd line. All in all though I'm excited for this. I like my squad. Which means I will finish last. Good times and you're welcome.

That is a great question. Like I might just have to do that to make sure certain lines are together. I also don't want my enforcers getting too much ice time. Basil McRae, baby!
Pshhhh. Nice goalies.
I have a Ryan Miller 2010 USA jersey that is way too big now. I'd sell it but it just looks too damn cool. It's one of those 1960 throwbacks.

I think as long as you set it on WhatIf and sim a game, it should stay that way until you change it. So I'll likely just run with whatever everyone has set up. In games I've run, it hasn't made much of a difference anyway. I can list a guy in the starting lineup and he'll only get 12 minutes of ice time.
