Having a regular season where you might play a team multiple times makes sense when you're playing a game. There are so many factors that go into how a game is decided that playing multiple times gives you a truer representation of who the better team is. But these matchups aren't games, they're opinion polls. So having a team lose and then come back seems very silly to me.

This while thing is pretty silly when you think about it.

This setup makes it a single elimination tourney for 95% of the songs and double elimination tourney for the other 5% of the songs. It just seems crooked at the end.

I'm not trying to be a bitch about this. It was still fun, and I'm glad stip took the time to do it, and I'm glad he is willing to try and shake things up a bit and try something new. But despite that, I think this is a better tournament if it's single elimination the whole way through.
