I've watched up to episode 9 of this season. Is it me or has this season been really bad?

Why on earth would Ted be explaining to his kids how he proxy-banged Barney's sister?

Just tell us who the mother is already.

Though... it would be fucked up if the mother was dead and that's why he was explainig all this.

This show is always funny/enjoyable but it seems to have been going in a circle for some time now. I'm very much looking forward to meeting the mother.

Its going to be tough to watch another season of this. This season's been more hit than miss (unlike last season), but enough is enough already.

But, alas, I'm pot commited as well.

I keep hoping that they'll still reveal the mother at the end of this season, and next season will be how Ted woes/wins her. But, I doubt that's where they're going with this. I have little doubt that they'll keep her identity secret a bit longer.

Still, a boy can dream...
