I've started using Chromebooks for home use about 95% of the time. I only pull out the work MBP when I need to edit videos, which is pretty rare.

Google announced today that Chromebooks will be able to run full-fledged Linux apps soon.
That means ChromeOS, Android and Linux (Debian) apps on the same machine.
