It's rather disappointing that I've never seen Mudhoney.
Play Adelaide, ya jerks!

Lukin was such a weird and powerful force for the band...he is sure missed, but Guy is a wonderful addition to the band as well; Since we become translucent and The Lucky Ones are up there with their best material. Will wrote:Still have yet to hear this album and check it out the documentary. I never have time, but nice to hear good things. The last time I saw these guys was 1998 when Lukin was still around. Tomorrow Hit Today was their last album for me and its a badass record. Once Lukin left, it was never the same.VinylGuy wrote:Just finished their documentary, Im Now- the story of Mudhoney.
Its great..what a great, sincere, talented and funny band. I cant think of another band like these guys who keeps making great music after all these years. It was nice to see Jeff & Stone, and some of the footage from 2005 from south america, with Matt too, to realize how weird must be for all of those guys to still be playing music together.
Mark Arm, such a funny and well articulate guy...i had the chance to talk to him a few years ago, and that guy is the real deal.
Great movie.

The old stuff is pretty great too, esp. self titled. Steve Turners albums (3 plus the EP) are nice too. Monkey Wrench wasn't quite what I hoped. The smoke coloured vinyl of Vanishing Point and shirt from Sub Pop are beauties.
I love those Steve Turner solo records. The song "No One Gives a Shit" from New Wave Punk Asshole is so great.Grungy Sea Ice wrote:I used to post rants here about Since We've Become Translucent, Tomorrow Hit Today and Lucky Ones being their 3 clear best in my mind. This is GOOD. Steve's guitar sounds perfect. I actually dig the instrumental three piece sound.bodysnatcher wrote:Stream:bodysnatcher wrote:these guys are playing on top of the Space Needle in about 10 minutes

He plays bass on one of the first two solo albums but I don't think he plays on the Bad Ideas record.VinylGuy wrote:I need to liston to those...Stone plays in them right?Fuzzcharger wrote:I love those Steve Turner solo records.
