I think Yellow Moon would sound brilliant with the Binaural production.
Breakerfall would've sounded better on Yield.
Gods' Dice wouldn't sounded better on Riot Act (and would've fit better overall, I think).
Parting Ways would also have been really interesting on Riot Act or, better yet, No Code.
Everything else is a perfect fit for Binaural and I wouldn't want to hear them on a different record.

Yeah, I could get into that. Certainly fits the theme.

I don't like the idea of Dave drumming on Grievance. It's some of my favorite drumming by Matt.

Yeah, Grievance would damn sure suck if Dave were playing it. I hate Dave's drumming, especially the sound of his snare drum. Always sounded weak.

I'd love of hear all of these versions. As I said before, I 100% agree on Breakerfall. And I'd really want to hear that version of Yellow Moon.

Parting Ways is such a quality and moody track that it would work on RA, NC, and its actual home. My ONLY gripe with Partying Ways is it should have been Inside Job type of length. I would love to hear more ripping NAIS or AON type leads.

Parting Ways should end by completely deconstructing itself into a mess of noisy feedback ala Sonic Youth.

Yes! You can hear those harmonics and feedback. The amps were certainly primed.

I've always thought this too. It really would fit perfectly there and it would close out the album in an even more epic (for lack of a better word) way.

fact: parting ways would sound good on any album.
sad personal note - I've never seen the song live - why they didn't play it during backspacer tour when I saw them when they had a string quartet (just breathe, the end, lukin), I'll never understand? seems like a perfect close out 1st encore type song. quartet and mike continue to play, everyone else leaves the stage. my head would explode.

One of the only real gems of the Philly 09 shows was Parting Ways.
