i'm sorry i'm not participating in this thread. i'm always a week behind, but i love kenny powers. "toby's plate looks like a goddam farmers' market" is my favorite line of the season thus far.

i think my favorite moment in series history was in the last episode of season one when april took off her shirt and the title came up. hilarious and awesome. she seems like she has fetal alcohol syndrome though. it's the eyes.

tight dick, playa!

Danny McBride and Jody Hill were on the nerdist podcast and talked about the casting of Katy Mixon. They kept getting all of these typical young and pretty actresses that looked nothing like what they were going for and they said they wanted someone who looked like a girl from their hometown that still lived there and taught school and she pretty much fit that exactly. So FAS in NC must be common?

Great interview...i agree about Katy Mixon...she looks stoned. But she is great for the character.

Fuck!! that chapter might be one of the best ones from this series..Ken Marino was awesome as always, but actually i think Danny McBride took Kenny on a whole different level here.

I couldn't even watch the "save my marriage" party because of how badly Kenny just doesn't get it. Then the way they end the episode shows just how focused he can be when you think he's just going to suffer another beat down.

Exactly. That april party was one of the things i adore about this show; they take a fucked up situation and they go that far.
Kenny telling everybody he lied about April´s friends? Poor April.
And the ending was perfect. That´s Kenny Powers.

I wasn't even mad that it was all just a screenplay.

I thought it might all be a screenplay as well. Upon second viewing, I noticed a southwestern motif in his office.

I didn't love the last season. I think the problem for me was that baseball wasn't a part of it. I also think the end of series 3 was a perfect series finale for such an outlandish show. I'd be shocked if they made a movie.

That might be true. I feel this season has been amazing, i liked it more than season 3, and i would like to see Kenny doing movies too.

Still, i can understand the overall feeling of this is enough.
