Maybe the least surprising LV post ever. What did you hate most about it?

The labored, obnoxious dialog.

Isn't it mostly improv? What did you find obnoxious about it?

They had a painfully extended, self-concious discussion about precum, delivered with excruciating contemporary jokiness. The second she dropped "That seems anecdotal," followed by an explanation of what "anecdotal" means, I was out. I don't need a show about ironic millennial robots.

The first episode starts weirdly. I had to watch it twice before I finished it. Meaning, like you, I watched a few minutes, then turned it off. I recently revisited the show and it gets much better. The "punchline" of that first "skit" is solid. And then it goes up from there. Each episode I've seen has been an improvement on the one before. But you're not much of a TV guy. So, this probably doesn't mean much for you.

Yeah, you're not gonna wanna watch this. Not that I agree with your description "show about ironic millennial robots." But I can tell you're gonna hate this.

Enter at your own risk, friend.

But, yeah, he's awesome in this.

I laughed out loud in a scene where they discussed a confusing plot hole in an Eminem song, but I can definitely see where you're going with that LV. I seek to understand you and your druthers.

I had to skip past that opening bit.

The rest is less of that, but I couldn't get into it.

I don't really like Netflix's offerings for the most part.

Yeah the first episode is probably the worst in the series. I barely made it through. Didn't pick it back up until season 2 posted and binged through both seasons in 2 weeks or so

This is a heartwarming season 2 premiere. I think I'll revisit my favorite neorealist films in the near future.

Loved that conversation in the beginning about doing things with people versus by yourself.

Oh god, if it has anything to do with Neorealism than I'm even more out than I was before.
