I bought two today.

Yeah I still buy and listen to cds

A couple. Less than five.

Having this in common with spenno and KD really makes me feel cool.

Zero. I really miss buying cds but having the internet and being kinda poor I can't justify it right now. They would all just sit on my shelf. In the past, not having access to all the music I want with a few clicks and really having to buy CDs made me appreciate albums more and made me have a closer relationship with them. Seeing that I could just stop using the internet for music and go back to the old way that might just be romanticising the past a little bit, though. I'm not sure.

the only cd's I buy now when they come out are from dylan, tom petty and neil young and maybe a few jazz reissues

Oh wait, I got a CD from a band I backed on Kickstarter...

I feel this, and think about doing the same. But I live in a small town and there's no real music store, it's impossible to find much music I'd like to listen to on CD. I used to live in the city, and when I did I mostly listened to music on CD.

I buy the vast majority of my CDs online, I bought something secondhand from Portugal last night via Discogs.

Two. Kozelek and this album (as a gift). I had the LP.

The last CD I bought was Lightning Bolt.
