I haven't watched a whole lot this season but I have two observations:
Ben Simmons is legit, and it's really weird that his team isn't winning much.
Player X leads his Power 5 conference in scoring and his team is currently in first place. Player X is surrounded by all freshmen in the rotation plus one other guy (Soph or Jr, I can't remember) who plays sparingly. Player X, you'd think, would be on the first Wooden Award Watch List, right? Well he's not.

Ha! Hadn't seen this before.
Big feature in Simmons/LSU this morning. Gameday. No mention about coaching by the talking heads. Best quote was from one of his teammates about how they have a good "recipe for success."
By the way, not that anyone cares but Player X above is Andrew Andrews and he is the best player nobody's talking about.

Roy Williams is the most overrated basketball coach of all time, he consistantly does less with more than anybody.
Recruiting, no problem, coaching.... Nope.

It's really overlooked how he won his first championship with Matt Dougherty's recruits.

Chris Mullin seems to be a really shitty coach. See: the end of the game against Seton Hall today. His players have no discipline.
