I doubt it will work, though. iPhone users will still say that it's the green bubble's fault for not converting to Apple and screwing up group chats, but at least the concept is getting out there more frequently now.
You never know. Apple is switching to USB-C for the iPhone 15.

Great. Now all the iPhone users at work are going to steal my chargers and claim they were theirs all along.

I have a contact whose entire history of texts has disappeared in 2/3 threads. Our direct thread and one group thread are affected. A separate, older group thread from 2016 still exists. My messages to them are still there, but there responses are gone. The threads affected have a "not available" preview.
