I seriously never listen to any ATDI prior to the ROC material.

Welp, Jim Ward is out. This hardly counts anymore.

It's good, but not great. It sounds like Antemasque with a little more aggression. Cedric doesn't have his screaming abilities anymore. But still, I'm just so glad they're back.

Listening again. I think it's better when not watching that video.

Oh yeah, that video hurts it. I didn't watch the video until the third listen and it seemed much worse.

The new song is pretty fucking good, way better than The Mars Volta or any of the 912 Omar Rodriguez albums that come out every year.

Not really feeling this. Cedric's delivery is weird.

2nd new song is good. Don't like it as much as Governed by Contagions, but still good.

Their newest single that came out today kicks a whole lot of ass, and the music video looks like Tool.

Not loving this. Cedric has lost his vocal abilities even worse than Eddie has.

Yeah Cedric sounds rough, but there were some good songs on here I thought.

The first three tracks are pretty bad; it's particularly embarrassing when the music drops out toward the end of "Continuum" and Cedric repeatedly whispers "I think I'll drop a dime." YIKES. Thankfully, it improves after that. "Governed by Contagions" is still really good - probably the best song on the album. Overall, I'd say this is somewhere between just okay and pretty solid.

Well now that they've got a new album out, could Glassjaw get their shit together and give us a new one already?

Coloring Book/Our Color Green EPs from 2010 were fucking awesome stuff.

Now a new Glassjaw album - I have zero doubt that would be amazing. They haven't lost an ounce of talent. And I don't know what they're waiting for; according to Billy Rymer, the songs have already been recorded.
