Re: Round 1E: Gone vs. Sunburn vs. In Hiding
the unofficial recording guide has it listed in one of the band's recording sessions.
we don't always know where that info is gathered from but i don't recall ever finding out anything in that guide has been blatantly wrong

I don't have any particular beef with sunburn but it is definitely one of those songs, like in the moonlight, that I simply do not get the appeal of. I don't hate either song or anything. I just can't even get my mind around it's appeal (unlike, say Off He Goes where I understand why people love the song and just think they're wrong for doing so)

I used to think it was a stone thing, but I think 10 Billion Years is lovely

Re: Round 1E: Gone vs. Sunburn vs. In Hiding
There was a time when In Hiding would've won a lot of these matches for me. Still a good tune, but it has lost a lot of appeal over time. Sunburn is still just a great little song. Yet, another one of Stone's gems.

In Hiding fairly easily, though I'm also a fan of Sunburn. Gone comes nowhere near either of those songs.

I do love the little not-solo solo in Sunburn, the swells on the electric during the instrumental break.

Another year where I'll stop caring about this competition far too early....
