Of all the great songs on S/T it kills me that this is what everyone champions after Parachutes. Parachutes isn't close to my favorite on that record, but it's a great song and I wouldn't argue with someone for picking it. But unemployable...

It's so good. Such a tight, tense little number. Ed sounds great. I love the layered vocals. The sentiment/story is powerful and relatable. It's wonky in all the right ways. It rocks in all the right ways. It's catchy. I really like the lyrics. To parrot Strat, it has a fantastic and odd riff with a poignant and infinitely singable melody from Ed.

The song works on every level.

There's a shiny quality to Eddie's voice that I just can't get passed.

I can see that. It doesn't bother me for whatever reason. I think it really works for the song. But, again, S/T production... yadda yadda yadda.

The sad thing is that Ole is getting lost in all this back and forth!

Ole has the same issue, actually (vocally)

I like Unemployable quite a bit but Breath is one of their better early era songs that still sounds fresh to me

I once got in an argument on this board with someone who was adamant that "breath" could be spelled with or without an "e," and that it was pronounced and meant the same thing.

Breath is fantastic and probably my favorite Ten outtake.
Still, my vote goes to Unemployable, one of my favorite things this band had ever done.

Unemployable. I think it's one of the better songs from S/T and Breath never did too much for me.

Me either. I keep going back and forth.

I kinda wanna vote for Ole at this point. But I know that's a wasted vote. Because this board.

I've never connected with Breath, not sure why, just dont like it as much as most.

Ole is a guilty pleasure I guess.

Unemployable is a nice, little tune and I like it more than the other 2, so it gets my vote
