I'm one of the weirdos that voted for Bushleaguer. I just love it for some reason.
State was a great tune to my ears many years ago. But, it's been a skipper for almost as long. The Fixer still remains at the very bottom of PJs catalog for me.

SoLaT is a grower not a shower for me. I didn't like it for a long time. Now I goddamn adore it.
The Fixer is vastly underrated and gets abused too easily. It's a good song. Bushleaguer is stellar. And if it weren't up agains SoLaT, I'd vote for it.

The Fixer sucks. I'm not a big fan of SOLAT either. It has never moved me the way it obviously does for some people. I really do like Bu$hleaguer though. The vocals don't do much for me, but the music is so nice.

Yea, I actually think the bridge sounds better, and Jeff's bass sounds more thundering throughout the whole track. I don't know that I like it "better," but I think it's one of the few redux versions that actually puts a new spin on the song.

I was hoping that Bushleaguer would be in a matchup where I could vote for it. The music and chorus are fantastic. But it can't beat SoLaT.
