I think there was some filming shortly after jacks departure too...Or I feel as though they added that bt as "where is jack irons" near the end after he left the band. SVT Came out during the 98 tour (or perhaps shortly after). I feel like the clocking in/clocking out thing near the end is a nod to jack leaving the band as well. Its cute.
I love this period of the band. Eds voice. His hair. His fatigues. The songs. THe grooves. They were still passionate about being Pearl Jam but also loosening up and enjoying being rock stars. A good mix of that.
And the album is just fantastic.

There was a part where they asked ed what was pj or what does pj mean, but i was too drunk to remember if an answer was given and who said what

He was probably too embarassed to admit that they named their band after a euphemism for semen (and then it was too late to change it.)
It's a pretty terrible and juvenile name for a band.
Anyway, SVT rulz.

Love the video. Jack is the best PJ drummer of the lot. I wish he would have never left. He should come back now.

This is far and away my favorite officially released video of theirs. A nice union of Cameron Crowe, Mark Pellington and Ed's camouflage pants.
