That sounds horrific. My wife has some tastes that lean that way and I hate it.
I could take or leave the tweendie but I like all three musicians I listed there, especially Kishi Bashi.

Man, I hate the Magnetic Zeros so much. My wife likes them.

Magnetic Fields, not Zeros. I don't like Edward Sharpe either.

She doesn't mind PJ and has seen them once. She wouldn't put them on but wouldn't turn them off either. She wouldn't be able to name more than 5 songs and wouldn't have a favourite.
She's into to almost anything from Sepultura to Sam Smith, however her favs would be Otis Redding, Al Green, Solomon Burke. She can't stand jazz and baby-voiced female singers. I guess you'd say she's into songs more than specific artists.

Many people on RM aren't nerds about Pearl Jam - they're just boring meme-quoting twats who post the same dull shit over and over.
Hey! Fuck you, buddy!!

I don't think my wife has a really strong opinion on them. I remember her having a positive opinion when "Man of the Hour" came on, and I think she said something about preferring that side of their sound. She's not much of an attentive music listener, preferring to have it as background sound, but she's mostly into the bands she liked as teenager; post-grunge, nu-metal, etc., with a recent interest in Celtic folk rock.

My wife is a big Bon Jovi and Motley Crue fan.
She thinks of Pearl Jam the same as I think of her favorite bands.

"Dr. Feelgood" is better than anything on the last three albums.

My wife and I share a few bands in common (mostly indie rock stuff), but she doesn't like anything harder than, say, Arcade Fire. So Pearl Jam is a bit too "edgy" for her.

My wife was heavily into 'grunge' in high school so by the time we met in '03 she associated Pearl Jam with her youth that she had outgrown. Our music taste overlapped quite a bit with other bands but I had to introduce her to post-No Code PJ, which she finds hit and miss (she's a writer and therefore more of a lyrics person - say no more). She respects but doesn't share my fanaticism and has come to one PJ and one EV show with me. We met some pit 'jamily' dudes at the EV show and she was fascinated by the 'wierdo/nerd' aspects of their fandom (which thankfully make me look very normal in comparison

)
Mrs Ridley's 3 favourite PJ songs are Off He Goes, SOLAT and Unemployable, amazingly all of which we got at the one PJ show we went to together (Melb 2006-11-16).

My wife only hears PJ she hasn't heard before when she is in my car. Every once in a while, she'll say "oh that was a nice one, put that on my iPod please". Off He Goes was one of those songs.
Also, she heard Pendulum in an episode of "Blacklist" and really liked it.

My wife casually enjoys them. She's come to half of the shows I've been to and has always had a good time. Her favorite song by far is Wishlist. If that happens to come on in my car, it'll get at least 2 immediate replays.
