I've made some changes and the board is using a different search system that should resolve the problems we had previously.
Please test it and we'll see how it goes.
I can see one issue at the moment, is that the search terms need to be 4 characters or more. I'll see what I can do to change this to 3.

You can't search for posts containing pictures that someone posted but searching for [img] anymore.

Maybe it's because jpg and gif are only three characters, and the minimum is four?
