Yeah, the only fade out I can think of that I have an opinion about one way or the other is Wishlist. And I LOVE it. But that's because it feels like a real choice and it enhances the themes of the song. The fade is actually a part of the composition.
Yes and how you can just barely make out the last line Ed sings. Perfecto.
:luv:

Exactly. It makes me want to listen to the song just talking about it.

Same. I haven't really paid attention to this aspect of the band in a while.

Yeah, Formula 1 has never really interested me.

That's Vettel, Sarge, not Vetter.

Since forever: it's an acronym for "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation."

For me, it's people talking about the transition from "Sometimes" into "Hail Hail." People have really strong feelings about this -- like some people think it's "dynamic," while others (Stip, principally) find it "jarring." To me, it's just like, one song ending and another song starting, y'know?

Also, the "Life Wasted" fadeout. It's like, who gives a fuck, right?
About Sometimes to Hail Hail....I love how it makes me jump high every single time I listen to the album.
