Was soooooooper into Fleet Foxes first record and Band of Horses first two records. Then, they essentially both fell off the face of the earth for me. Haven't listened in a long while.
But shit, "The First Song" is an all-timer.

Fleet Foxes' first album (along with the "Sun Giant" EP) is one of my favorites of the '00's. The second album was a step down but I still like it an awful lot ("Grown Ocean" is possibly my favorite song of theirs).

Fleet Foxes are great. One of the best bands of the last then years. That performance is mediocre, though.

I really liked that first album. I picked up Helplessness Blues and didn't listen to it more than once... just wasn't drawn back to it.

What a terribly unconvincing vocal performance. He could have followed up "...not my picture" with "oh, you're going to anyway, that's fine too" and I wouldn't have been surprised by that point.

I will never listen to bands named Mumford and Sons, Imagine Dragons, or Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
Has nothing to do with their names, I've just heard their music before and will never listen to them.

Yeah, I loved their first record. Haven't listened to anything else they've done except maybe a few random tracks here and there in movies and TV or whatever.Kevin Davis wrote:Fleet Foxes' first album (along with the "Sun Giant" EP) is one of my favorites of the '00's. Band of Horses is goddamn amazing. I'll listen to them forever. Especially those first three records.

Re: We need to talk about Robin Pecknold's version of Cordur
They only made one other album, dct. Since then Robin has been busying himself with other pointless endeavors, such as attending college and performing this PJ cover.
