Better than I expected it to be. Story presented some interesting philosophical/moral questions. The space visuals were nice. I'm not a big fan of either actor, but they were fine in it.

I haven't seen it. But I love Jennifer Lawrence. I want to see this just because of her.

Question though, Ruddo...
Spoiler: show
I'm hearing people say they are pissed because the trailer misled folks; that this movie is not at all the movie that was advertised. Do you agree?

I'm curious about this but all the negative reviews are putting me off.

Worth watching?

I don't think the trailer misled. It left out one big plot point but that was kind of the surprise early on in the movie. It actually made the movie better for me not expecting that little twist.

I didn't even see a trailer I don't think. Might go in blind.

And there is a big moral question posed in the movie I've enjoyed thinking about and discussing with the person I saw it with.

This movie was garbage, but Jennifer Lawrence was stupendous.

And then quickly abandoned / weaseled out of in the most spineless way possible

Are you talking about
Spoiler: show
The fact that once she discovered they all would have died because the ship was falling apart, she wasn't mad any more? Because yeah, that was kind of weak. I would have rather had Pratt's character die, then Lawrence's character be faced with the same moral dilemma once she got really lonely.

haha, I think Andy Garcia had more screentime in the trailer than in the movie itself!

I enjoyed this and thought both actors did a damn good job. Great visuals.
