Supposedly Mothra and a couple other Godzilla foes are in the end credits and possibly in the movie.

Blockbuster tentpoles these days seem to have gone the way of the American presidency: there isn't even a baseline of competency required anymore. This film is utterly awful in every conceivable way. Vogt-Roberts has no head for this kind of cinema, and since he has essentially zero skills as a visualist or a craftsman, there aren't even any simple genre pleasures to be found in this meaningless, boring mess. The whole movie deals entirely in bromides; when it isn't treating everything as a detached, winking joke, it's aping scenes from other, better movies, but stripped of all weight. Scenes and characters are developed and contextualized so poorly that they sometimes become practically nonsensical. "Trite" barely begins to describe this disaster - it is tiresome wreckage, an emblem of a dying culture.

Oh, and Brie Larson was fucking terrible in this. But, in her defense, so was John Goodman, who I know is a great actor, so it probably isn't entirely her fault.
