What do you think of Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights?
Young Frankenstein is great. Don't like Blazing Saddles. Robin Hood is okay.
What about High Anxiety?

Never seen it. I think the only other Brooks movies I've seen are The Producers and History of the World.

Yeah. I'd still probably rank it #2 out of the Brooks I've seen, though.

Honestly it left little impression on me so I'd be hard-pressed to give you specifics. It just does nothing for me.

Spaceballs is in my top ten and the fact that both chad and LV don't like it probably bumps it up into my top five.

Funny, unique, meant for laughs:
1. Spaceballs
2. Blazing Saddles
3. Young Frankenstein
4. Men In Tights
5. The Producers
I've always had a special love for Spaceballs, but honestly there isn't that much to separate them. The strange thing about Mel Brooks films is that I find they lose some of their brilliance if I am not in the mood or if I'm not paying attention. Different from other famous comedies I can think of, that are perfect for having on in the background.

This is fascinating because I completely agree. Except that I also like Sapceballs. I wonder why that one is the outlier.

I've seen it twice. I liked it more the second time. But not much more. It has like two great scenes and the rest of it is pretty forgettable, I think.
