Peanuts in soda. Back in the day people did this down south. I've tried it a few times with Coke / Pepsi / Dr. Pepper / RC. It's actually pretty good.

Yeah, people still do that here. Especially boiled peanuts in coke or pepsi.

Oh yeah. People do it here all the time. Just grab a small pack of salted peanuts and pour 'em right in the bottle. I never liked it.

No, spread on toast. I like mine with butter on the toast, but I've been told by some Aussies not to do this.

Yeah that's what hubby does with his Marmite. Toast or just on bread.

last weekend, my wife slathered tomato paste on a piece of toast, covered it with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese, and zapped it briefly to melt the cheese. she called it pizza toast and said she used to make it all the time growing up.

Every once in awhile if Im feeling lazy Ill toast a couple pieces of bread, dump some store bought spaghetti sauce on it, and melt some shredded mozzarella on it. In a pinch Ill use a Kraft Single.
