Force of Nature, quite easily. I think it's a pretty nice song.

PJ has only played Force Of Nature live 11 times. Even they hate it.

Force of nature is awesome.

I'm surprised that FoN is winning. It is horrible and GSMF is one of only two good songs on the whole album.

FoN has such a great bass line, guys.

Gonna See My Friend has that same latter-PJ day issue of sound digitially manipulated together to me, but it's salvaged by some great work by Matt and Jeff in the rhythm section. Matt's probably the highlight of the first four songs on Backspacer, after which I think it really goes off the rails. But GSMF is a fun listen. Force of Nature is just inherently boring to me. It sounds bored with itself by the time the verse even starts.

Yeah, and it's got some interesting lyrics too. But it's still a piece of shit. Those individual strengths don't come together to create a compelling whole.

Totally agree.

Something about the squirmy way ed sings the 'I'm gonna see my friend' but at the chorus always made me think of stone temple pilots. I don't know why.
