I've got an original pressing of Riot Act on vinyl. It's pretty damn good, almost sounds like the album was made for vinyl.
Having the massively fucking giant booklet is pretty cool too.

Still hoping for this.Birds in Hell wrote:Given that new digital masterings were made available of No Code and Yield along with their vinyl reissues, fingers crossed for the same approach here in hope that we finally get a decent sounding version of S/T.

Binaural would be my pick there, maily because I already have RA and don't care for the other two.

Would be huge. Was listening to this again the other day and most of it is really good. Tracks 1-7 are unimpeachable in my book. If only they get the raw sound they deserve.Birds in Hell wrote:Still hoping for this.Birds in Hell wrote:Given that new digital masterings were made available of No Code and Yield along with their vinyl reissues, fingers crossed for the same approach here in hope that we finally get a decent sounding version of S/T.

The music on S/T has aged so well for me. Production aside, there is some great stuff on that album. And a lot of those songs translate really well live. I love the album, just wish we could get a better sounding one.

It's a shame that they stoppes playing those songs live.

S/T was the last good album from PJ IMO.

It has some fantastic playing on it. It's just creatively directionless (ironic given its abnormally cohesive sense of purpose), other than a few moments/qualities that in retrospect foreshadow Backspacer. The whole band seems so determined, and also so content, to just prove that they can still do a thing they used to do.

How much are they going for? I have one that I bought on a whim when it first came out, despite not having a player at the time.Rangi Guy wrote:Shit - I just bid on an original pressing of Binaural.

depends on condition. used but in VG condition usually go for around 200-250. Near mint seems to go around 250-300guestT wrote:How much are they going for?
