Similarly, Supersonic has a freaking awesome bridge. Dissimilarly, the rest of Supersonic sucks sweaty chode.

The intro to Severed Hand is way cooler than the rest of the song.

Mind Your Manners intro awesome. The rest doesn't really compare

I can think of two examples that inspired this topic

1. Sad - The intro of this song is so cool, and I was so disappointed when I first heard it and it caught my attention only to just go into honestly a fairly generic song with very boring background of the same chords over and over after that amazing beginning part.

2. Red Mosquito - To me, the chorus of this song kills a lot of the momentum that the awesome verses behavior build, even if the parts where it transitions back is amazing, I don't think its worth it for how bad the beginning of the chorus kills the vibe.
Pearl Jam is THE band for underwhelming choruses.
It is known.

The ending jam is pretty good. One of the highlights on S/T for me.

Mike's solo is short and sweet and is up there with the cool intro.

Marker in the sands chorus really sucks the life out of the song.

Inside Job and Marker in the Sand are good suggestions.

I will add Man of the Hour and Glorified G.

Future Days doesn't hold a candle to that immaculate piano intro

I'll never understand any love for anything after the first 6 seconds.

Really? The way that song starts is probably a big reason of why I dislike it.
