not a huge fan of that song. a lot of their work seems a bit mediocre. don't get me wrong. I hope to come around on the filmore recordings and all that but I dunno.

You HAVE to listen to them. Other than Mountain Jam every song is priceless. Listening to that set, you really understand the reasons why they chose the tracks for the original album.

And you will appreciate Whipping Post. The studio version does it no justice whatsoever.

no, dick. that would be tragic. Dying at 69 is dying when youve finally reached an age where you're not beholden to anyone, and should be able to enjoy the next 20 to 30 years but instead you worked your ass off your whole life, and you get rewarded by dying. my dad was traveling around Europe and going to jazz concerts or whatever at 69. He's going to be 91 in July, he still feels somewhat cheated by the fact that he doesnt walk well anymore. you stupid fucking idiot

I always said I wanted to live to be 127 as long as I stayed healthy and maintained all faculties.

It's like wow Malice, you just changed my life again with one of your brilliant insights. The fact that you even think it's worth arguing over sad. I was speaking frivilously which amounts to nothing, but you, you should be ashamed for being such a truly banal person. Fuck off!
