Wow, who would have thought that Linkin Park was the realest, angstiest nu metal band of them all and actually meant that shit? Get the fuck out of the way Korn, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Disturbed, System of a Down, Chevelle, Sevendust, Papa Roach, all of you are posers while Chester actually meant that shit.

But let's not try to pretend Linkin Park is any good either.

Which version of "2 Dead Guys Sing a Bad Song" do you prefer, LP feat. Chris Cornell, or STP feat. Chester Bennington?

Both are 0/10 trash that's deader than Scott Weiland, Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington.

Corey Taylor is next, or maybe the singer of Papa Roach will off himself on Wayne Static's birthday instead.

This guy's name always made me think of Benetton. Now it makes me think of suicide and Benetton.

Boy, I never knew his backstory until today. Can't believe he lasted this long. Poor fucking guy. Sneaky young, too. Like everyone else, I feel bad for his children. I also feel bad for his fans. Had I been born 10 years later, this very well could have been to me what Cornell just was. His lyrics are in that Blow Up the Outside World wheelhouse.

Jammer, same as the Chris Cornell thread. Timeout for a while, and be respectful for the other posters that are here for better reasons.

While I was never particularly a fan it's always sad to hear of someone taking their own life. I've known a couple of people, directly or not, who have done that and it leaves a devastating path.

A twenty something yo at work was being a bit of a prick when Cornell died saying he was old and irrelevant. Today, that guy was shattered.
