Safe to say that Dicky V, Hulk Hogan, and that one Nasty Boy are the Rays' most famous fans?

Yet another walkoff win that I was able to watch. 8-)

In related news:
Too bad King Felix is coming up tomorrow, so I don't know how long this lead will hold. :|
Did Dick Vitale just live tweet a stroke?

And Mark Bellhorn. Those were the days. I remember there was a big deal made when he came up to Fenway for a game and got tickets behind the plate, but no one could hear him because, you know, people go to the games.

I left my house to go out after 3, when it was 2-1 Mariners. I figured, "OK, King Felix is pitching tonight, no way they're going to win this."

I check on my phone quickly while out, and it's 7-1 Mariners after 7. "Yeah, fuck this shit."

So yeah, this was a pleasant surprise.

Incredible win last night, team. There's something going on here. Now, with Peavy starting on Saturday, I'm getting excited. NESN had a good interview with Peavy - seems like the type of guy who can handle pitching in Boston.

i feel like the sox are taking a page from the orioles playbook. basically, collecting starters that don't go deep every time out. i just hope the sox pen can handle the workload.

Except we're one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to blown saves. Our bullpen actually costs us games, but our offense takes them back.

We're 9-6 in games where we've blown a save.

i'd take 6 more wins and skip the "in games where we've blown a save" part.

Glanced at Peavy's playoff experience the other day. Glad it was such a small sample size, otherwise I would be worried!

You should still be worried. All we did was get another Ryan Dempster.

Merge them into one person, and we've got a winner! Also: clubhouse guy!

could one of them pitch out of the bullpen? apparently Cherington screwed that up.
