I was excited to see what these two idiots came up with but the more it hink about it - They might be hacks who luckily stumbled into greatness on behalf of Martin.

Whatever Lucas film comes up with next i'd love it to be along the lines of "origins of the force". Lets go all the way back. Lets uncover this mythology.

Honestly believe that’s what Rian is doing. He had a huge raft of ideas and his trilogy was confirmed while he was in Ireland on skellig. Look at the original jedi texts of it all.
It seems he had a huge origin story and they greenlit it
