Agree with one exception:
Spoiler: show
Kratos telling Freya about killing his kid felt a little odd while climbing a wall.

Another excellent side quest. I like how the characters embrace and comment on going off and exploring.

It's by far one of the smoothest games I've played. Even in Fidelity mode it's smoother than the first game (with the PS5 SW update). In performance mode, it's on another level entirely.

If there's a Bezerker King, that sumbitch is going to be harder than the Valkyrie Queen. Only 3 down. 9 to go.

Once you get to the higher end of leveling up, they become a bit easier.

I'm still working on my initial playthrough. I was thought I was pretty close to the end until I stumbled across

the giant, new, northern half of Vanaheim.

The one with lightning attacks was very tough. If he connected, you get electrocuted, which leads to follow up attacks. The other 2 I encountered weren't that bad.

When it comes to this kind of quality, I'll take more! This coming from someone who's barely scratched the surface, have only gotten in about 3-4 hours total so far

JFC, I guess I'll come back later to
Spoiler: show

Yikes.

Spoiler: show
The final act (Ragnarok) felt a little rushed to me. All that work to get Surtr and he just hangs out in the background and then pokes Freyr with a sword a couple times. I also feel like we never truly got to see Odin at his worst. We spent all this time hearing about him in the first game and the atrocities he's committed (which I suppose may be enough), but that level of evil never truly came across in-game. Kinda the same thing with Thor. Maybe that's the point? The storytelling emphasized the point that anyone, even the worst of us, can be better -- depicting too much evil onscreen may be at odds with that.

This game has also made a point to cast doubt on Odin's atrocities. It puts the myth in mythology.
