It'd be nice to get a proper copy of the complete MTV Unplugged performance.
Definitely. The thing about the bands music, is that if you're in a situation where you're in a minimum wage job and treated like shit (not even given the day off for an interview even when you've got the time off accrued), songs that say "everything's shit and you shouldn't do something you don't believe in" don't really cut it, because you already know. I was in that situation, had Definitely Maybe on in the car and I'll try to put it into words. "This isn't you. This isn't who you are. You don't have to do this". And with them being a Manc band, I had just spent a week in the Peak District and gone to Manchester for the day. First time I really enjoyed it (the only other time I'd been was an unplanned disaster). And so it all came together. Long story short, within a year I was gone from a job I had been stuck in for 6 years. Oasis music can do that for people, and people who haven't lived that life just cannot understand that.Jeez wrote:Oasis are overbearingly representative of their time which has taken away from some half decent bands. Probably hard to fully explain unless you were on dole/ shit money in the UK and Ireland during the mid nineties. Believe me when I say Seattle bands appeared exotic..
They definitely stole a lot (Noel still does, holy Christ) which is pretty clever upon reflection but many of the tunes do stand the test of time.
There’s a complexity to the brothers relationship which belies the knuckle dragging bleating of Liam via twatter. However, Noel loves the attention and a pound note and Liam the same. Noel has also recently been talking a fair bit about the decline of guitar music. They will eventually reunite for a very short time, in the sunshaaaaynne then continue to act like utter wankers.
Liam is such a petty asshole.E.H. Ruddock wrote:are one of these guys still a potato?

I gather this will play nowhere near me but I would love to see it in a theater. Getting a live release will be nice, 250,000 oasis Fans Can't Be Wrong was a heavily edited bootleg that I listened to plenty.spike wrote:
