Not sure which bad take to tackle first here
Let's start with yours. Literally the worst take you've posted on this board ever. My guy... What's going on here? I feel like you're trying to punk us all.

tragabigzanda wrote:16 Carriages feels monotonous to me after the first 30 seconds. The instrumentation in the mellow part doesn’t embrace me the way I want it too, and the beat drop doesn’t hit hard enough. Feels like they didn’t finish mixing it; there’s no sense of momentum or drama, and it’s frustrating because it’s so close.

Texas Hold ‘Em is just so fun, melodies and harmonies just wrapping themselves around each other, full of ear worms. It’s slick but it still feels human; it’s laid back but uptempo; wistful but lighthearted. Strikes such a unique balance between genres and vibes.
I also like Texas Hold 'Em quite a bit. Heard it the other day and was like "woah, I want to hear it again" but couldn't find it on another radio station. I'll probably play it on spotify for Raz tonight and she'll really like it I'm sure.

don't give me that kumbaya crap

Look, buddy, I get that you like to go. "Busting balls" and all that. I get it but I'm not sure I'm the foil you need. Sorry about that.

For me, the song is literally the exact opposite of everything you described. It doesn't sound monotonous to me, but rather meditative. Every aspect of the instrumentation embraces me in surprising ways. The beat drop WRECKS me. I guess I can't speak to mixing issues, I'm way out of my depth there but nothing about the song sounds unfinished or incomplete, to me. There is so much drama and genuine feeling. The song is so honest and heart on sleeve and charged with feeling. At least for me. So, all I can say is "agree to disgree."

But since I know busting is your love language.... fuck off you earless hack!
