I often forget how great this song is. The composition is brilliant.
I might not always be crazy about Matt's druming in Pearl Jam (he's fucking awesome in soundgarden), but he's easily the best songwriter of the band.
Has this guy ever done a solo album?

Wellwater Conspiracy doesn't count?
(He also wrote my favorite Soundgarden tune, Room A Thousand Years Wide). Great songwriter.

Not sure Wellwater counts as a solo project, but it features some great Matt Cameron stuff.

Did he not write all the tunes for WW? I honestly have no idea?

A lot of them but not all. McBain and Shepherd wrote a lot for all the albums as well.

Shepherd was only on the first album and barely wrote anything.
The songwriting for WW is equally shared between Cameron & McBain.

Shepherd is in the writing credits for 9 of the songs on that album though.

I think my favorite part of Evacuation has changed from the obvious verses and bridges to the underappreciated chorus and outro.

Let's crawl into your face
He sensed worry could be strength
With a plan he said time for......
So many great lines in this song.

One of their worst songs by far. I honestly think the first 3 songs on Binaural are 3 of the worst uptempo tracks they’ve ever done.
