I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Re: The Office
Its absolutely hilarious and touching. its the perfect scene for that show. It kind of encompasses why that show was so great. It went beyond the jokes and the ridiculousness. They did such a good job of bringing heart and connection into that world.tragabigzanda wrote:my favorite scene in the entire run is when Michael returns to the office after his roast, and he roasts everyone from his index cards, and Stanley starts cackling. It's such a great earned moment after the whole "Did i stutter?!" incident from a while back.

I'm an original (US) cast purist. I feel like every time they added a new character to the show it got a little worse. The seasons after Carell left are abysmal.
