check that, there is one in chicago but she went to the one in austin. anyway, we haven't been because apparently "the chicken's not as good as the colonel."
what the fuck is it with australians and kfc?
it was like their only source for fried chicken for decades.
there's actually a huge "american bbq" craze over there now; places everywhere. dickey's missed out.

I could go for some Gus's with a side of okra right now but I'm stuck at work and I don't think they deliver.
This place will more than do. Doug, they also have a few locations in LA.

I ate at Gus's the first night I was in Austin last month.

Nice. Did you keep your plastic cup? I find that they are great for drinking water around the house.

the South Bay area of LA where I live is seriously lacking in good fried chicken..I refuse to go downtown for it..we have 25 poke joints within 2 miles though...

Yes. That place was a regular eatery for me when I lived there.
