Generally with you on what I've seen so far, but I also think we're not far away from being able to say something like "Give me this live show but replace vocals with [description] vocals" and having it sound good.

It seems that most people don't realize that AI would be just as susceptible to random mutation as meatbags. Only it would happen at an accelerated pace and probably not be as fatal to it.
