For all the positive feelings I have for the new single and prospect of the new album, please tell Pearl Jam is not so tone deaf as to tease a new single and then not release it at midnight. Please don’t make me wait 8 days for this...

They didn’t even release a snippet of the song, so midnight is likely wishful thinking. Teasing this and waiting 8 days would indeed be dumb.

I'm going to be annoyed if we don't have it this Friday, 9 days is an arbitrary number that makes no sense; I mean, teasing it on Monday would have been better if they're doing that

Local rock station this morning said there will be new Pearl Jam (not Dance) on their "New Spin" show next Thursday. They typically feature songs that were released in the week prior to the show...so my bet is we get Superblood today or tomorrow.

Im guessing Monday.

Guys, its not happening today.

I also have a feeling that they will build this one up with various teasers and maybe a new video or something as well.

It's possible...but knowing this band i wouldnt be surprised if we get another tease clip today maybe with a bit of audio and the full thing doesnt get released till Monday.

the cool thing is that after DotC, and after 7 years, and after band comments like "we did it ourselves", I have no idea what to expect, and that feels nice
