haha yeah they are ugly fatties

they don't migrate with the seasons, they just pick a rocky outcropping on the bottom and hangout and eat crabs, clams, and mussels all year

it's a lifestyle we could aspire to

they taste delicious

Until this trip to Maine, I had never heard of lobster stew. Mrs Wease ordered it the other night and it was really tasty. She ordered it again tonight at a different place and it was absolutely one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. We’re going back there in a couple of nights and that will be what I get.

Yum, chunks of lobster meat instead of a bisque, which is also delicious. Looks like butter and cream is still involved, which lobster needs one of at all times to be any good (mayo also works).

Yeah, we expected it to be similar to bisque and it really wasn’t at all. It was actually better than bisque!! (And we’ve not seen bisque on a single menu while up here. Just chowders and stews.)

Bisque gets its flavor from the shells. No need for such pittance in mighty Maine.

I've never really liked seafood but lately I've been really liking Halibut. I guess it's my gateway fish. I had some Cod (fish & chips) that was really good too. What does RM recommend for people who don't like seafood?

Even better than that BBQ you had in St. Louis before the Pj show where you had to stand in line for like 3.5 hours?
