Now, IIRC, PJ's crazy mary was actually released before Victoria's. So would this tape be a demo of victoria's version?
Resisting urge to mischievously reignite the "is 'Crazy Mary' technically a cover?" debate in a thread full of new posters...
Its a cover yeah.

I'll take a link if anyone's feeling charitable. I'm more interested in golden-era work tapes than actual albums, at this stage.

Crazy Mary
I’ve got conflicting information on that track: I’m told that the Crazy Mary/Pusherman tape is actually a cassette of the two original songs by their respective artists; the Crazy Mary cover in the unsorted folder is said to be from an unlabeled cassette, but none of the unlabeled cassettes in the collection appear to include Crazy Mary...

I’m somewhat inclined to believe it’s from the 4-9-93 cassette of Vs rough mixes and works-in-progress, which does have Crazy Mary in the track list — but the track length doesn’t quite line up as well as the others, which have basically been correct down to the minute. I don’t want to file it there until I know more.

Angel (two version)
There are like four versions spread across the collection, and I’m having trouble identifying exactly which these are. Hope to have more on this soon.

Policeman (two versions)
Similar to Angel, there are multiple versions in the collection, and the tracks I’ve got didn’t come with any clear identifying info.

Crazy Mary - no picture was posted of the tape from which this Crazy Mary version sourced. Was the only track on the tape and tape had no identifiable markings.

Angel - not sure which versions you have but can tell you the following regarding all the versions included on the tapes:
4/5/93: track length 2:19
Demo 1 Sept. 91: track length 2:29
Sept 20: track length 2:50

W.M.A. / Policeman - same comment as above...can fill you in on track lengths:
2/11/93 (track 4): track length 5:45
2/11/93 (track 5): track length 4:47
4/9/93: track length 5:47
Bad Animals: track length 6:17
Sequential Mixes 5/13/93: track length 5:54
Unlabeled Studio (track 8): track length 1:17
Unlabeled Studio (track 9): track length 3:17
PJ Stuffins - Pre Record 1: track length 4:39

Thanks for the info. With the collective help of other kind people, we have compiled a folder that includes what we have.

About Angel, three versions are in the folder. Two of them are the instrumental ones that come from the "Dave's Stuff" tape. You posted them on the PJ forums, I think. That is also not pictured on the Collectionzz site. I wonder if those two instrumentals are all that's included in that tape? The other version is a webm YouTube rip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IToqwMws7I) and it's the Sept 20 one, it has 5 extra seconds of silence at the end but that's because of the YT upload. Would be great to possibly get a lossless copy, really.

About WMA: two versions are included in the folder. One is (supposedly) track 3 from the 2/11/93 tape (it's named "1993.02.11 Part 1 03 W.M.A.") and its length is 5:42.442. On the 2/11/93 tape, based on the tracklisting you have on the Collectionzz site, the WMA demos are actually track 3 and 4. Can you confirm this? The other one is another YouTube rip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHiSdc6yU_8) and it's the "PJ Stuffins - Pre Record 1 - track 9", it's about 4:40 but that's because of the lossy compression from YT. I absolutely LOVE this one and would be so much a pleasure for the ears to get a proper copy of it.

It's great that you chime in on here, so that we can have the right info :)

Angel - yes, you are correct. There isnt a photo of that tape posted on collectionzz. Here is a photo: https://imgur.com/a/Bj7g3vX and here is a link to lossless file: https://we.tl/t-R4dRgBsVuP (valid for 1 week)

W.M.A. - PJ Stuffins - Pre Record 1 (FLAC) - https://we.tl/t-vW6newWr0v (valid for 1 week)

In terms of the track listing from 2/11 - the ones included on Collectionzz were done hastily. Its since been refined as follows: https://imgur.com/a/0DJXvbI

if someone wants to send me a link of what you have in the folder, ill happily look through and see what else i can clarify / add....for instance i can let you know that there are a handful of tracks on the 2/11 tape that are the same versions as included on the PJ Stuffins Pre Record 1 tape....just putting it out there....
