I agree. This doesn’t look anything like the original Fett from ESB or ROTJ. So he kinda looks like just another mandalorian from the sewers.

Yeah its not the Fett from Empire or Jedi its the retcon Fett from the Prequels/Special Editions. It's my kids Boba Fett not the one I was introduced too. I'm totally willing to go with it but everything with him feels slightly off.

Also, every twi’lek looks like a painted cosplayer. I’m too cynical or old or dumb to enjoy Star Wars anymore.

My mayor letdown is that the series looked and did the same as Mando.

Of course i was expecting it, but still it was a boring to see at some extent.

This. I came to post exactly this.

I think Mando is Fett from the OT, and that's why I like it, but I'm ho hum on BoBF.

I noticed what you’re noticing as well. I think it’s the same amount of armor but just looks completely different against the black vs the grey/blue undersuit. He’s also missing other aspects like the braid of Wookie hair, big belt pouches, leg pouches…

It’s also been repainted and stuff and doesn’t have that time-worn look to it.

I had that same question. It’s exactly the same armour. He’s just gotten older as we all do.
His suit underneath was white / dirty white in the OT.

The black undergarments here are just making it look different. Almost opposite. It fits in thematically in a way.

Chest plate and the helmet are the only consistent pieces. Shoulder plates are different. Wrists might just be a different color.

I think Morrison is also taller.
