She’s a lot more likable than Daenarys was.

I’m a little behind; just finished episode 3. Really good stuff but the overall quality of the show feels a little off — mainly the inconsistent effects work and some of the cinematography and camera moves during the action sequences. This show has all of the pieces to be great but it’s not quite there yet. Sapochnik’s departure has me worried.
The coming switch to a new actress for Rhaenyra also seems precarious for the show — Alcock is great and switching to D’Arcy may feel like an unnecessary reset for the character. Will we care as much about Rhaenyra once D’Arcy takes over?

Ep 4 was pretty good. Still think Matt Smith and Rhys Ifans are crushing it.

Rhys Ifans is totally Otto Hightower; really knocking it out of the park

Just saw a side by side pic of the lady taking over from the younger whatshername I can’t spell it.
She’s identical! Older obvs. I hope she carries the younger ones manned and quiet determination through

Actresses are now 13 and 22 (probably take away a year, to find the age of when they played their part). Though I think the 22 year old is supposed to represent a younger age.

So, this illness that Viserys has... he's like falling apart, but lives another decade to cover the time-lapse to Rhaenyra's older self?
Those leeches are doing great!

Criston Cole might’ve been a great fighter, but he’s pretty bad at making decisions and who to trust

Are you insinuating that he should've trusted Joffrey? Or that he shouldn't trust Alicent?

he shouldn't have done like 99% of the things he has since becoming a kingsguard. the 1% being reminding Daemon that he unseated him during the joust
