Damn. That’s how it was back in the day.

We’ve been out for a month but start back the third week of July.

I guess it’s a humanitarian effort to get kids back into air conditioned buildings.

We’re in what they call a “year-round” program. And instead of 6-week terms we’re on 9-week.

They go for 9 weeks, then off 2. Then go for 9 weeks, then off 2. Then 9 on, 2 off. Then, the final 9 weeks, then out for 9 weeks.

Do they have an all day before/after school program for those weeks they are off? That seems like a nightmare for parents.

They do not. They’re basically fall break, Christmas break and spring break

Our experience was about three months of non-activity (she was vaguely interested in the potty, it was basically a toy). Then one day we started the real process and six weeks later it was completely mastered.

Good luck!
My boss watched our kids when we came out to RMpalooza In Missoula, and when we got home they were potty trained.

My wife is devouring a book on it and thinks we can get it done in a week.

Can you hold down the fort while I fly them in for a few days?

My youngest was in an at home daycare, and the woman running just took her pants and diaper away. Potty training happened nearly immediately.
